Clothing Emergency Caused by a Dog

My dog started exhibiting some weird behavior last month. Normally the dog is gentile, docile, and likes to lay around, but it became more energetic and wanted to jump on everything. One day when I went out of the house to run some errands, the dog went into my closet and pulled out one of my dresses. The dog chewed the dress to shreds, which infuriated me. I had to pay for next day delivery dresses because I actually wanted to wear that dress for a dinner party that one of my neighbors was throwing.

Nothing else in my closet was really ready to wear to a dinner party, at least not without some dry cleaning, and the dry cleaners are always packed where I live. That’s why I got the dress dry cleaned weeks in advance, because I knew how hard it would be to get it cleaned the week of the party. I could have taken a chance at one of the malls or retail stores, but that would have been a lot of searching, when I could just find something online and get it the next day without even leaving my home and trying to find a parking space.

Luckily I was able to get a dress to replace the one that my dog chewed, but I was still left with a problem of what to do about the dog and his new attitude. I took the dog to the vet for an examination, and the vet told me that the dog was going through some natural changes that tend to happen when the dog is ready to find a mate. Given how much work it is to take care of one dog, I didn’t have the energy or the patience to deal with a mate for my dog, or even puppies that the mate would bring.
